A very light pastel yellow would look great!
Not school bus yellow but a nice light pastel shade of yellow, yeh!!!!!!
I was very disappointed with the colors from the factory.
If they were trying to get young people interested in an E they sure dropped the ball when they did'nt come out with some light/bright colors.
I'm sure even many of us older folks ( I'm 58 ) would have liked some lighter/brighter colors for our E's. JerryG

i agree the colors were kinda stodgy.. sure they went "wild" with having the Green and the Orange.. but (now I love my BLue and I am glad they had it) but the most mainstream colors being black, blue, silver, and beige.. that is not something that typically would appeal to the youth..

But this is all a stretch for Honda, good ole' reliable honda.. they just are not much for being wild n crazy.. or ever slightly adventurous, this was a HUGE thing for them to do.. ashame they lost hope on the demographic they desired. sure they grabbed some but nothing close to what the hoped.

I would have loved a yellow, not a pastel, but a nice bold fresh yellow!
I would have also liked to seen the Orange with some interior accent color, or better yet with a cream color interior.. creamsicle!

But the fact is that the young guys they were targeting overwhelmingly actually buy the"boring" colors when they buy cars. I'd like to see a bright red E myself, and I do think it would look good in yellow (bright, lemony, yellow).

It's funny how you said that about the younger people buying the "boring" colors. I think the reason is financial. Those colors are the ones that are left behind at the end of the year when dealers have huge sales and promotions. Until now I've always settled for car colors that didn't thrill me because to buy a new car I had to get a deal on a left-over. All the flashy ones are gone by then.

I love the color of my E, but I would like to see it in yellow, bright red, or even a dark charcoal grey or khaki. Also, this might have been posted before, but didn't they pick the E colors from the elements--earth, air, fire, and water?

earth = Shoreline Mist??
air = Silver ??
fire = Orange
water = Blue

What does the Green represent, or the black?

Black = Night to balance the day
Green = Life growing things
:D

I thought it was:

Earth = Green
Air = Shoreline Mist (because mist is in the air maybe?)

Silver and Black = Light and Darkness

But what you said made sense too...I like the idea of green being Life and growing things! :) I think my next E will be a GG.

i agree with ladyjane earth=green, which is what i have. i would also like to yellow and red added and graphite/gun metel grey replace shoreline mist.
