I made the bumper, here is the thread http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24295

The wheels are 20" TSW Kyalami's that were bought off a fellow member. I painted the centers gold which was originally silver. I also didn't put the center caps back on. I think it looks better without them.

More pics. Side view of bumper

Sweet ride. Reminds me of my old wheels!

Actually I got the idea from your Element when you had the gold wheels. I got a pretty good deal on the wheels so I thought I would paint them and see how it turned out. And well, I like it. I do have plans for a custom forged wheel that will be gold and staggered. I love my other forged wheels but just wish they were staggered.

Thanks to all for the great comments. This is in fact a prototype experiment bumper that I made and I have to admit I kinda agree with Joey Sugar. I was going for a more natural oem look. I am planning on some changes so I will keep everybody updated on what I do.

Well seein you're looking for a set of forged wheels down the line, give my company a buzz!

www.dpe-wheels.com

Since we've done a couple Es with proper staggered fitment, we'd be glad to help you out and get you taken care of. I think my last set was 20x8.5/9.5 with 245/275s

Just make sure you ask for Mike.

Squad Uno Very nice bro ......just wanted to let you know that your box is looking very JDM ........Perhaps a K20 head next for your project? or Even taking the new boosted Acura RDX K24A (turbo) and slaping that kit into the box???? Any who nice choice on fog's almost thougth there were EK's.

Yeah, I saw Squad One's Element at a car show in San Diego on the 1st of October and it looks different again. His rims are black with a chrome lip and he switched up the fog lights too. Under the hood he's done all kinds of stuff! I don't want to get it wrong so I won't attempt to list what he has done but it looks real nice! I asked him if he was gonna mass produce the front bumper piece and he's definitely thinking about it.

Wow, this is an old thread, sorry for the late reply. It's been a while since I have posted anything. Just been really busy.

Would like to do a head swap but not interested in the RDX turbo. I could piece a custom kit together no problem and be just as good or better than the RDX. There is really nothing special about that turbo (just my opinion).

Oh, and I recently changed my fog lights and did a few things in the engine bay. Funny because my new fogs are off a 99-00 Civic EK.

Also put my other wheels back on. Check it out

I went to a car show in San Diego (Extreme Autofest) on the first of October with my car club, so I decided to change a few things. Mostly in the engine bay.

This was also my first car show with the Element and I actually won a third place trophy in Honda class - other.

Here is a link to pics of some of our cars at the show. If anybody is interested. http://squadone.net/SquadOne/viewtopic.php?t=761

Yo, what up Burn619. It was nice talking to you at the show.

Sorry no more gold wheels, for now. And I think the fuzzy dice would go with your whole look you got going on with your ride.

I would give you props, but nothing special going on with your Element.

Not really feeling your wheels either. You say you do wheel work for high end dealerships yet you have low end wheels on your Element. What's up bro? The first thing people look at is your wheels. You should think about maybe getting a set of forged wheels, since the Niche wheels you have weigh a ton. I mean with a set of forged wheels you would cut down the weight, with all the equipment you have in your car and all. Also people notice an expensive quality forged wheel. You can get a show winning shine with polished cast aluminum custom forged wheel that you can't get with one piece, mass produced, clear coated wheels, like the ones you own. You could also use the wheels to show off your work. Once you put a shine on a lip of a forged wheel it catches peoples eyes. Then maybe you could boost your profit because the dealerships like the way you present your car as well as your work. Then you would make a name for your business in the wheel repair industry.

Here's my custom 2 piece forged wheel

Take this reply however you want to (Worktoy). Just putting in my 2 cents like you. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. What I think doesn't matter, what you think doesn't matter. If you like your car, then that's all that matters. Thanks for the harsh remarks and for taking the time to look at my thread. Because that tells me in some way, it interests you.

good move on losing the gold wheels. your E is way classy looking, and i thought the gold wheels looked a little.....i don't know....i don't want to say not classy, but that's the best i can come up with.

are you going to go back to clear foglights now too, or keep them like they are?

Might be a while before I enter another car show. Work is taking a lot of my time. But I'll definitely give you a heads up.

I actually like the gold rims better. They stand out more and pop. If your E was any other color but white I'd say I like the black but to me the gold ones are the way to go.

I'm interested to know what you want to change in the front bumper mod. I'm torn on whether to add the entire SC front end to mine or attempt something like you did. If I did the SC thing it would be very unique as they do not make the SC in Atomic Blue.

All in all you E is really nice. Do you have have trouble with rubbing as close as you have the 20's down? I don't have mine quite as close as you do and they occasionally rub when you hit a dip or something. Didn't know if there was some plastic out the the wheel-well that you cut out.

Sure, gotta wait till I get home though.

EDIT: Here you go. I had to add the "go fast" sticker to the back. LOL
EDIT: There is still room to drop another 1-2 inches. Not gonna do it. My driveway is too steep.
