: Cat Posts?

All I've read is about Dog posts. What about Cats? My cat doesn't mind a ride but typically it's been to the vet when one happens so he is a little suspicious. For example, trip to the vet, looses his "hardware"...

Here's a snap of my Cat in his normal mode:

Geez, that looks familiar....
Our 'Garfield' looks the same, most of the time.
We have 5 cats - all related. The mother, Lucky, and 4 of her kittens, from different litters. The youngest is now 3...
Here they are 'mouse hunting'...

So is Lucky a Mormon? Catholic? Promiscuous? Or just...Lucky? ;-)

My daughter named her - rescued from the shelter. After 5 litters she pretty well lived up to her name...
Everytime we took her in to get fixed, they told us she was pregnant, and couldn't do it... She had a real knack for getting outside and disappearing for a couple days...
After she was finally fixed, she didn't want to go out any more...(she's the calico)

I don't think you see many cat posts, just for the simple fact that cats are not E friendly, like dogs are. If you are bored, check out this site: StuffOnMyCat (http://www.stuffonmycat.com/)

Our Zoo: 3 Cats, 2 Dogs, 13 Box Turtles, 2 Water Turtles, Dozens of Fish

We've always had cats in our family - usually siamese. Goofy is the closest now - half siamese.
Many years ago we had 1 Seal point, 2 chocolate, and a torti. The problem with the pure breeds is that they don't live past 20 years. Kidney failure, lukemia, and a car. Tasha lived the longest at 27 years...
We've also had dogs (2) rabbits, (1), fish, turtles, and currently a trio of zebra finches...

We have two 5-year-old cats, Tiger and Owen. They're indoor cats (unless I keep the front door open too long). They don't seem to like my E as much as I do, probably because they only ride it in it to go to the vet.

Can you guess which one is Tiger?

Always was a dog lover then our little dog died. A few months later my wife brought home a stray kitten. My first reaction was to leave the door open - BUT - now that we've had him for over a year I wouldn't trade him for all the tea in China. My son named him "Knucles" and he is really a character. He's the coolest cat I've ever met. Will post some pics in the future............

I think the better statement would be "cats are not car friendly". It isn't so much the E as it is the moving confined space.

Anyway, here is Chunk, aka Dunkalunk, aka Boobala...

Yea, my fish doesn't like riding in it either! I will not make a Fish thread :)

It is tough to get a good picture of a black cat! "Licorice" is now 12 years old. The fish is 8 years old.

Ok, now my Turts are feeling left out! They demand a turtle thread! Say the Element copied their idea of energy efficient, utliltarian, fun travel anyway.

BTW - every turtle in these pics is a rehabbed turtle, unable to be released into the wild. Often habitat destruction due to construction dooms them to death - in Texas there may be as many as 6 box turtles living on each acre of undeveloped land. When the land is developed, they are either rescued (if they are very lucky) or they die. Once moved from their home range they cannot be released back into the wild as they "fail to thrive". We have 13 box turtles ages 1-40 living here. Many have injuries ranging from missing limbs and eyes to crushed shells. All are now thriving in their new home.
The big water turtle lived for 5 years in a school room tank before outgrwing it. He also would not survive in the wild as he has no prey drive or hunting ability.

I doubt I'll be letting this little one wander around in my E to test his claws out.

Here's Binks watching me work. She doesn't mind riding in the E, as long as it's not to go to the vet. :)

my neighbor's cat just saw that dead cat post...he was fully traumatized...Rosco now tells me to post a picture of a giant hairless tailess cat, otherwise known as a "human" and asks, how you like dat? He wants me to tell you, that "it's all fun and games, meowr till somebody scratches an eye out."
