: I Think I Am Getting Bored With My E.....I Need A Fix

Eazy E

It is now the middle of June and the lack of cool accessories and the endless look for the right tire, wheel combo is starting to bore me....I do not want an everyday E like most....Every car I have owned I added my own personal touches to it, but still keep it looking clean, not over done. Right now the tint, rear deflector, and boring side steps are it. The grills that are out do nothing for me and pretty much know why. The tire and wheel combos suck for the most part in less you want to spend $3K for a set because they are FWD....All the sweet combos are for RWD.

To me the E is missing something badly......To me it needs Chrome really really really bad. I am waiting for Chrome side steps, roof racks, & door handles. As for the grill.....the silver that outlines the grill looks like bad with these new grills out. This is the problem with the grills that are stainless or chrome out on the market. Why does the GMC Danalei grill stand out? Because it is surrounded by chrome all around it and it blends in perfectly.

Aftermarket people take note......Get us E owners some Chrome parts ASAP... Maybe it is just me, maybe not but time will tell I guess.

Someday I will have the "look" I want and let other be the judge of my taste. Someday I will post pics of my "chromed out" E

I can't believe that side steps and a roof rack haven't come out yet in stainless or chrome....so easy to copy the Honda models one would think.

My next grip will be the handling of the E

Later EE

hey chrome one.. sounds like you have some interesting ideas and will make your E your very own.. look forward to seeing these pix..

as far as not liking the brushed look the E has, well honestly that was one of the things i really liked.. and still like.. i don't care for chrome, but i also thing we all need to do what works for us, and sounds like you will have alot of fun once you find what you want.. and makes your E special.. i really do look forward to seeing yours evolve for yoU!

i dunno, but seeing as the e isnt as popular as the civic or the accord, there wouldnt be as many aftermarket parts, seeing as the e has an accord motor there should be many compatible performance parts

Presumably you mean jcwhitney.com (whitney.com is an investment firm!). So far their website doesn't have an entry for the Element under Honda when searching for car-specific parts. Are you seeing these in the print catalog?

With a rebel yell, he cried Momo Momo! Get some Momo parts. They can dress up the "E" nicely. If you have a manual transmission, the Momo shifter is far superior to the stock one.

what's the website for Momo? I looked it up and there's a whole bunch of sites from around the world. Italy, Japan, there's a club site.

wow if any of that made any sense please correct me
I could understand this thread existing if it were attached to the interior forums
there is no such thing as a cool wind deflector
and why would any company produce anything for the exterior. NObody but Honda wants to be associated with that rediculously terrible extereior.
good luck finding chrome interior assecories that WOULD look good with the factory stuff. It's just still new
but those ricers out there I would like to suggest a huge wing or small BBG pit

I've heard rumors of Lexani coming out with some technology that every wheel will soon feature.
They're calling it anti-E

I found a website yesterday that featured Spoon racing parts for Hondas. They have some wild stuff. Anybody want to get the lightweight battery for $250?

Don't look now, but your prayers have been answered!
have you seen the grilles offered by Cloud Rider (.com)?http://smilies.sofrayt.com/1/k/smileybreasts.gif
They are first class, looks Honda factory made
The slotted style is awsome, but the just introduced
"with round holes" version is out of sight!
Will give you that Denalli style! not that wanta be, add on look!
This will make the greatest new statement for your "e".
I hope mine is on its way!
Will post picture soon.

I bought a dashboard kit from "Protrim Inc." (1-800-350-5337) They also have a web-site. It comes in either 10 pieces or 20. I got the real Rosewood one...and it looks great and makes the interior of my E look like a million bucks...and it's really easy to install...peel and stick basically. They make a whole variety of dash kits including brushed aluminum (which was my second choice). Check it out!
All my friends like the new wooden dash!
