I am looking for a cord that will connect my MP3 player to my Aux jack. I am not a hardcore audiophile so I need your help. What would one of these cords be called? I figured it would be like one of those cords that connects a CD player to a car stereo through the tape deck, except this cord would have a little male connecter to slide into the aux jack instead of a tape.

I am not sure what the cord is called either (and I have one)....but I will tell you a little seceret.....walk into Best Buy or Circuit City....then just walk up to a salesperson and say "I have this MP3 player and I want to connect it to my AUX jack" I did exactly that...then the salesman walked over and grabbed a pkg off the peg....$5 later I was out the door and hooked up my MP3 player in the parking lot....waaaaaalllllllaaaaaaa!

This may also be referred to as a 3.5 mm stereo mini headphone cable.

Radio Shack has several.
