Wow...Mt Diablo thread jumped out at me. I grew up in Concord, went to Mt Diablo High School (a LONG time ago!). Is castlerock park still there? (For that matter, is mt diablo High School still there?)

If I was closer, I'd go!

I'd be interested too... the Ridgeline owners club had a meet up there I believe last year... maybe we could invite them along also... would make for an interesting meet.

..may even get a chance to meet those from both sites that are planning on attending the Tahoe camping trip (and maybe convince some that aren't)

Hi all you brave souls who responded ... I am eager to meet you all. Let's meet at the top of Mt. Diablo to escape at least a bit of the heat and at the same time compare "E"'s ! I am thinking of Saturday 6/17/06 right at Noon.

The reason I have chosen 6/17/06 is that on Monday 6/19/06 there will be construction begun and if you know about construction on roads, you will know that your travel time will be doubled!

If you want additional info on Mt. Diablo or how to get to an access road you may call 925-837-2525 or you can visit Mt. Diablo online by going to
www.parks.ca.gov and then clicking on Mount Diablo.

Hope to see a lot of "E"'s there on the 17th!

Take care!

Val

Hi all ...

Just a reminder about the Mt. Diablo climb on 7/1/06. Plan to be up top by
12 Noon ... for those of you unclear about what's "up there" or how to get "up there", you can visit the Mt. Diablo or California Site at www.Parks.ca.gov
There you will find great instruction about how to get to the park entrances, what's available up top, etc ... See you all on the 1st!

Hi all ...

There's a lot of questions regarding what to see and do on Mt. Diablo. I have only been "up there" once and recall that it is a very scenic place. I would recommend bringing your camera as the views from "up there" are truly amazing. PLEASE visit the web site for Mt. Diablo. It is loaded with information about what to see and do, parking, picnic tables ... etc. Go to
www.parks.ca.gov. Thanks and hope to see as many of you up there as is possible.

....as I'm now in 'E'-possesion again. Not sure about DW's hours on Sat, so it'll just be me. Might bring the Greenspeed recumbent trike to tool around in, so I'll have an even stranger vehicle to show off...

Hi all ...

WOW! I never expected to see so many elements at top of Mt. Diablo. The weather there was very warm and beautiful!

Sam & Diane ... You have a great Element! Some of the features I never even thought of. I'll have to get that special one we talked about!

George ... Nice ride!

Sammy & Mary ... WOW! It's so clean!

Jack ... all the way from SF ... thanks for making the climb!

Melissa & Greg ... All blue ride ... NICE!

There were a total of 6 of us up there looking down at the world! The funny part about the whole "group" experience was that when the car showed up by itself no one looked ... when there were so many, everybody came over and wanted to see the car. Honda should be paying us! (-: We all then caravaned down to In-N-Out in Danville-San Ramon where we were besieged again .. the ride down to Danville was awesome ... so many looks and "pointy" fingers. Special!

I am looking forward to the next get together!

Stay well!

Val:)

It should've been 7. . . I'll apologize; I was on 680N when my folks called with a minor emergency. Ugh.

Anyway, I wish I could've been there. . . let's see some photos!! :D
