Hi,

I saw a thread on usenet rec.audio.car and thought you folks might find it useful. Most audiophiles agree that a proper sound stage can only work if all the speakers are in front of the listener - much the same way a band is in front of you on a stage at a live performance. So it's no wonder that these people also believe that rear door speakers ruin the effect. This is the topic of debate in the thread below.

BTW, rec.audio.car is a very educational resource for those interested in this type of thing. :wink:

What about if somebody comes out with a deck that plays SACD's or DVD-Audio?
