Which of the colors available for 2006 is your favorite? Either you have purchased an '06 in a particular color, are considering one of the colors, or if you HAD to give up your "older" beloved E which would you pick!

I LOVE the tangerine color... I love my SSM, but sometimes I feel she's a bit plain... which is why I am spicing her up a bit... maybe making her look a bit more sinister... which is good with black and silver. :)

BUT if I had my choice of any.... it would be the TANGERINE! :-D

The Tangerine is a "head-turner" for sure. I LOVE driving in it, it literally GLOWS in the sunshine. The metallic really shows well in that color, which, natch, is why I HAD to have it. No contest for me, it was the Tangerine and nothing else would do. I waited for Tangerine to "arrive" in Dallas and headed right over for my "extended" test drive. It was delivered to me one week later (accessories included) and I already had mods waiting for it at home. I like all the E's but for me, nothing said E like the fun, happy and uplifting Tangerine.

Tango, I actually thought of you when I was making this poll:) You are as passionate about your Tangerine as I am about my Kiwi.......does that make us both "fruits":D

I also love the Tangerine color but in the small town where I live there is already a Tangerine and it has a huge Texas A&M longhorn on the back glass and another T A&M sticker. For me I just couldn't get past the college colors.....of which I did not attend. I think if it weren't for that, I might have ended up with a Tango Twin:)

If they had made the TRP with the unpainted panels, I would have traded in my 03 SSM.... now I guess I will wait for the 07 color choices... :rolleyes:

Saw ds79a's TRP at Northeast get together on Tentback Mtn and it blew me away. I had a maroon Chevy Nova for years so I'm partial to the color and the TRP just takes it into the next dimension.

Actually, me and Empire have been talking about making mine the Rebel/Jedi E. LMAO!!! It seemed like a good idea! :)

I just have to say that I do love the Kiwi. It gives the E more of a flavor compared to that minty green they had before. I think the Kiwi definitely makes it stand out a bit more....

Not that I didn't like that Minty/Gallapagos green... but it reminded me of that green color they used a lot on Dodge Neons... :oops:

For me I like both the Atomic Blue Metallic & Rallye Red. And I had to pick between those two when I bought my new car....but I wanted a moonroof & only the Rallye Red had it. But I am happy with my choice. I also think the Red "fits" me....everyone at my work knows its my car & they still come up to me & ask me about it, even though I've had it since Feb.

Yeah, I love the Rallye Red.. it's definitely different. :) Very hip and young. :) You know... us girls in our mid 20s can't forget how to have fun! :razz:

Rallye Red is such a fun color. You see red cars all the time, but there is something different about this red.
Plus it helps that I can always see where my car is because of the bright color. Easy to spot in the day & at night

True to all that! I am not the red type... however, I know lots of people that are! My favorite color is blue, *sigh*. The first E I was going to buy was that bright bright blue.... Somedays I still regret not getting that one.... but I'd never tell my Lucy that! :oops: LOL.

The Silver fits me... and now that I've started doing some little things to her, she is gonna look sleek. I decided on the tribal theme... I ordered some new decals today.... two tribal island guys for each of my pop-out windows and a silver tribal sun for the lower right of my back windshield.... and that's all the decals for me! Then I am getting my black nerf bars.... So. I feel better. Now... back to topic. ;) LMAO.

I really like the atomic blue, and perhaps if my wife and I were to buy a 2006, we would either buy one of those or the tango red pearl, but I recently saw one of the tangerines in the sun, and I was totally sold on that color. It's so pretty in the sun, it really does glow.

Sorry, I had to customize the poll for myself. If I had to give up my 2003 E, I would wait for the 2007 models and see what colors were being offered. While I think some of the 2006 colors are ok, I wouldn't want to own any of them... sorry.

Thanks for changing my vote spdrcr5. I honestly can't stand the new colors, and I wouldn't want the colors that survived. If I had to trade my SMM in for anything it would be for the same color or SOP...that will most likely never happen so I guess I can only wait for what '07 will bring.

No problem. I feel the same way about the colors, for me of all of the colors produced so far it would have to be either SOP or MM.

My vote? None of the above. I really like the Cargo Kakie.(spel?) I'm a biege kinda guy.:)

From what the brochures say the 07 is going to be released with one new color in the EX-P - a grey/silver darker than the ASM. The "Root Beer" will be only in the SC which will also come in the new grey/silver. The Rallye Red goes away totally for 07. Otherwise color options appear to be almost identical to 06. No info yet as to the colors for the models with unpainted panels or if there will even be an unpainted panel option for 07. Right now the color options at least for the initial production run will offer little "new".

Tango Red Pearl worked for me! :D I liked the Blue as well but the interior blue didn't work for me.

Ahhhh...no. This is a term that was coined in the late 70's for working in remote areas far from home. In my current case, I used to live in Indiana near Indianapolis but moved to Glasgow Kentucky (Egypt). Some day I hope to return to the "Promised Land"!

The camera is a Canon Digital Rebel using a 60mm Macro Lens. Image was shot hand-held at F16, 1/30 sec. I suppose you could say the bug prefers to wear Kiwi but likes to ride on Banana!

Your poll might have been complete for a minority of the board, but most of us are from a different time and do not prefer the new colors or the EX-P. The original look was perfect, and now it is not. Also, when you create a poll, it isn't just for you, it is for the whole board...spdrcr5 was only adapting your poll to better accommodate the entire member base.

She wasn't asking for those of you "from a different time" to express your opinion of the 06 colors - she was asking your favorite color IF you had to chose an 06. So bend a little and say what you WOULD choose if you HAD to pick one. None of the above is not an option if you HAD to buy an 06 (as many do). It's a hypothetical question - answer it in the same vein. Guess what - if you want a new 06 E "none of the above" isn't an option.
We get it - you don't like the painted panels OR the color choices for 06 - chances are you're gonna like the 07 choices even less. I don't however, believe you are speaking for the "majority" of the board. Maybe you have been here longer but that doesn't make you somehow the spokesperson for the rest of the members....nor the "majority". Obviously most members (the majority) were/are easily able to choose a favorite among the original options presented.
The E is changing and it's going to continue to change - perhaps in directions that some don't like. One can choose to adapt or remain stagnant - however, embracing change is part of living and growing - even for those "from a different time".

Didn't mean to strike a nerve there tango, I apologize if our opinion on the poll as not being complete is offending some people. I still stand by my opinion that most of us aren't going to enjoy the EX-P models because we were the ones that were attracted to the style that we have and it has worked for over 3 model years.

I have been here longer, but that does not make me the "spokesperson" nor have I claimed such a title. But I was around when the EX-P was just a photoshopped dream and most were definitely not behind it, judging by the replies. Honda; however, wanted a different crowd and that crowd is now here...and we welcomed everyone. So don't take the fact that I don't like the EX-P model as a knock against you, I don't know you, I just don't like your car! :razz:

Change is something that I and most people can handle, and the '07 is looking pretty good. And none of the above is an option if you have the dealer paint the Element as some people have done already.

That change is good but yet you can't be satisfied with the poll asking you to pick your favorite color out of the ones listed? If you read my first post you will see that I am asking the question in that you ONLY had the choices available for the 2006 models. Not that you HAVE to like one of these over the choices that were available in the past, but if they were the ONLY choices which do you like the best...or in your case which offends you the least. And as for color, I've purchased many vehicles in my driving career and not everyone one was the perfect color for me. I liked the car and just chose a color out of the ones available that I could live with.

I still stand behind my original poll. I can see that some who have been here longer feel there opinion is more valid that other who are new to the group. But as I said earlier, such is life. :|

I have no problems with the painted panels. My only issue is with Honda's color pallete. I don't like that they insist on certain colors only being a 1 year offering and also I don't care for them replacing basically the whole color pallete every 2-3 years.

So given the choice if I had to pick a color that is being offered for the 2006 Elements I wouldn't. I would either find a used Element, wait for the 2007s and see what colors were offered there... or I'd buy a color I didn't like and pay several thousand to have it painted a color I did like.

My answer might not be something you agree with... but boxing someone into a corner without offering them a choice isn't fair. That's the only reason I made the change to the poll. People like to participate and if someone creates something that is exclusive then it will be changed. Your poll isn't the first one I will change and it won't be the last one. I changed one last week and people thanked me for that. It was an older poll, that needed to be reopened and updated so I did it.

There is no harm in what I did, it didn't harm the poll that was created here and allows others a choice. Think of the movie Brewster's Millions...

I agree with you Kermie. And apparently 57 out of 61 people polled do as well...
I love TRP, just not as an EX-P, so damn it, I'm gonna find a dealer who is going to give me a TRP EX...

I don't see what would have been wrong with the original poll, and I don't see it as being for herself, I was actually looking for a poll like this, because I am so proud of the color I have.
