Well I stole Empire's wheels and tires because I thought they looked so good so I will probably get flamed for copying but oh well. I went ahead and bought 5 of each tire and wheel so that I could stick one up on top in my Load Warrior. Here are a couple of pictures of my new setup. Oh and the car is dirty right now. Enjoy!

Very nice. That's where my spare will end up.

We'll have a fleet of Star Destroyers. :D

yes - i attached the yakima tire mount to the load warrior. i have had it up there for a few weeks now without any problems and that includes a pretty long trip on I95.

Just because I discovered the same brand and model of wheels on my own doesn't mean I copied him, Carlie. Mine are smaller, and not often you'll hear a guy brag about that! You won't find any Star Wars tattoos on me in two weeks either, trust me. :???:

Still, though I'm the one who dared to flirt with actual brake disc clearance, all three of us have great taste in wheels, huh!? :D

Do y'all put a UV protectant on those tires? The 303 people claim tires that don't flex and are exposed to sunlight are at risk. Maybe they're just trying to sell their stuff, but it's worth looking into.

Kinda like worrying about farting in my sleep, ramblerdan...that much worry might keep me awake all night! If those two can afford a full-sized wheel and tire to cart around on the roof for mere "looks", I'm gonna guess they can either afford to buy new ones when the old ones "wear out" or, just not care, like me.

303 and all the rest are still gonna manage to peddle gallons of their glop without me as another customer. Guess I can try to sleep without the noseplugs tonight...considering I last needed to use a spare tire once in 40+ years of driving.

Believe me, if anything I've shared has inspired someone else then I'm more than flattered.

Great job, looks awesome!

i considered this but not for looks. I use my rack for gear.
I spoke with my dealer and he said that if i use the spare and it is smaller then the other three there will be no harm done. He said it will pull to the side but other then that there is no issue.
If I have a blow out then I will have to drive directly to get it fixed or replaced.

here is a question for you guys.

I know the Load Warriors / Mega Warriors add additional height to the E. So for those of you who have them...ever have issues getting into parking garages??? I'm really affraid to go into them with a big basket because i've already topped out with some snowboards on my snowboard rack. And this was at a common Vegas parking structure. A lot of mall parking structures are like that as well.

Or do you guys just park outside somewhere else?

Yes, I had 20s on there for over a year. It was just time for a change. The new ones are 235x70x16.

I can't remember the last time I had to park in a parking garage and the malls around here are mostly all outside parking.

Both Warriors / Mega Warriors have about the same profile as my surco. I have PIAAs to add to the over hight and I never have an issue with clearance in park garages. Keep in mind although it seems high to us we are no even close to the hight of a Ford 250 with a 3" lift kit and the get through all of the time.

I had problems getting into parking garages w/ my thule snowboard rack too. Last time was at the hilton parking garage in Universal city. And plus i couldn't clear my garage. I have the BVG roof basket and i get into my garage fine now, but i doubt it i can w/ a full sized spare on top.

Damien, why does your loadwarrior look bigger than everyone elses? Is it the mega warrior or do you have the extension put in. I like the way it looks w/out the fairing. Nice E

We had a problem at our hotel in downtown Chicago (Palmer House Hilton) - the structure they use would not accommodate our Element with Load Warrior! We went a block over and found a structure with better clearance. That was the only time it was an issue but we've only had it since May.
