Is E the best car for Tech Savy people?

I love that you can hook up a mp3 player and that there's 7 speakers.

I also thought that perhaps you could open up the side doors, fold the front driver seat down and the back driver side down, and take the front passenger out and put the reat passenger seat up and make that drivers side a bench/sofa to sit on as like a mobile office for todays freelance web designers.

Are the 7 speakers in the E qualified for DTS Audio? (im talking dvd 6.1 speaker system)

Is there a way to remove the front passenger seat entirely and replace it with a laptop arm. That would be mint.

Let me know how tech upgraded you can make a E and if you have any photos of any to show how some were done!

Thanks ahead!

You need to check out the "Studio E" which is all about taking digital to the next level.

Here's one link:

Yes. The E is perfect for loading your 32" HDTV, your 7.1 Home theatre system and your 875P computer from the store to take home.

Hauling equipment to customer sites and parking in the city is a piece of cake in the E. And as many of you know, I love car audio and technology hardware!

I tell ya I would be happy with a nice digital compass/tempature (outside) thingie on my dash.

As for the "tech savy" person?

Man,I wouldnt consider it anymore or less "techie" then most other little suvs.

I would have liked to see them intergrate a laptop shelf or bigger shelf near the mp3 plug in (which is really only a line in jack (nothing special)).

I did buy a thing that goes around the front seat and has a shelf on it that folds out, like an airplane tray, for the person in the rear.

I makes a decent workstation.

Hmm never thought about this I'm about average I guess. I am running my own server with a personal website (http://www.comphobby.org) from my home. I did manage to network four PCs (ethernet style) cables, faceplates and all at our house (looks like a pro job i.e. no wires strung everywhere). Tech savy though? I use my vehicle to get away and other than radio/CD capabilities don't tend to bring to much tech stuff along on trips. I never finished college and work in a petrochemical complex. Generally guys like me are the ones walking around with screwdrivers and pliers in their pockets not pens and pocket protectors. I would like to get satellite radio for my element though and a GPS Nav system, of course one of those mega cellular phones they keep coming out with would be nice to oh and maybe a PDA or laptop with wireless internet. No I'm not tech savy rather a tech enthusiast and I guess I really want it all! :P
