I Have A 2003 Dx Element And A 2006 Lx 4wd Element. On The 2003, The Dealer Installed The Cd/radio System With The Alarm And I Had 4 180w Pioneer Speakers Installed. The 2003 Sounds Great!!!! The 2006 Lx Had A Standard Receiver And 4 Speakers, And It Sounds Poor In Comparison To The 2003.

Does Anyone Out There Have Suggestions For A Cd/receiver And 4 Speakers (i Think They Are 61/2 Inch) For The 2006 That Would Not Cost Over 350 Dollars Total. I Just Want A Better Sound, But I Do Not Want To Break The Bank.

Any Suggestions Would Truly Be Appreciated. I Need To Know What Brands Fit The Element. Thank You.

Try Updating The Speakers Alone First. They Are The Weakest Link. Do The Deck Second.

A Lot Of Companies Make Good 6 1/2" Drop In Speakers. I Am Partial To The Eclipse SE8365 And Should Cost You Around $250-275 For All Four Speakers With Installation. Check Out The Speaker Thread At The Top Of This Forum.
