I am currently in Asia on business and my ex is watching my (our) two labs, Jackson and Henry.

I got some curious emails from her last week asking me to please call when I had a few minutes. I managed to get through to her and I found out that my chocolate lab Jackson had escaped her grasp and was hit by a truck.

Luckily the truck was going very slow (it had just crossed over a speedbump)and my Jackson is a big-boned guy. He spent several hours at the vet ER and was given a clean bill of health. It's been several days now and he is still showing no ill affects.

I can't wait to get back to the US! I miss my boys!!!

Wow... I'm glad to hear that he's a tough little guy! That must be rough to be so far away, but at least he's with someone he trusts as he recovers! They look like very cute labs from your avatar!
