Does anyone have a car charger for their Creative Zen? I have the 8G Micro Photo. I bought one off ebay, but it dosn't seem to charge my Zen. I just want to order one or pick one up that will work without having to guess anymore.

Thanks!

I have a suggestion, as I have a 5G Zen...

I have been looking for one myself, but I have seen a beast of this nature. It is a standard cigarette lighter plug, but it gives you a USB port. You can hook it up to the Zen using the data transfer cable it comes with.

A friend of mine has one, but he got it as a gift and doesn't know where they got it from. If you find one, hit me up :) I tried the usual Radio Shack, etc.

Not to mention that it costs a lot more than a generic one should. I don't want to pay 30 plus shipping for a Creative branded one.

Also, my suggestion could be used for ANY item that can be charged via a USB port...sucks when you have to buy multiple chargers.

What do you guys think about this? My friend has one that charges his ipod, but I am not sure if it will charge my Zen MicroPhoto.

I will try and borrow it from him to see if I can charge my Zen on it. I called Xantrex and Creative and they both said it SHOULD work.

I will try and test it out this week and post back an answer.

I tried the same thing and it locked mine up...at first I thought I fried it...I don't think the output is the same. How long have you been doing this?

Uhmmm....since I bought the car about a month ago. I have the original little Zen Micro tho....maybe they have evolved? It's about 2 yrs old now.

I also have the Zen Micro, 1st one that came out about a year and a half ago. Just curious...I didn't want to try it a 2nd time after my 1st experience :)
