: Did GM copy SOP for the new Corvette? Scooter 05 07-26-2006, 08:25 PM I dunno if the E had Sunset Orange Pearl back in '03, but GM chose a strikingly similar color for '05 (and I think '06) with their Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic for the Corvette. BTW, my sister belong to the Corvette Club (in Topeka Ks) -----but I prefer you guys!!!! lizzurd 07-27-2006, 05:34 AM Paint companys recycle colours.....the pukey yellow used on the 2001 civic coupe in 2001 showed up on the PT cruiser a year or two later.My neighbour has a ford escape with what looks like sop on it as well.
