Here is Emmett, my St. Bernard puppy. We have had him a few weeks now and we are certainly smitten. He has already accompanied us camping, which he loved--especially the lake.

Emmett loves food, drinking from his big water bowl (his wading pool), chewing, laying on top of the cat and meeting new people.

He gave me one of those deep belly laughs!!! How adorable!!!! Congrats!

Here is a cute one from the other day... I went to check on him while he was on the back deck and this is where I found him--asleep on his beloved wading pool.

And he'll have an abundance of snow nearby in the Cascades this winter.

Thanks Kattoon. I actually was following a car down the road and saw the license plate and it read Emmett (spelled differently) and thought "hmmm that sounds like a great name for him."
The clincher was that it was an Element I was following, and so yeah of course that helped in the appeal of the name.
