Thanks T Mac,

This is to those people who were looking for see the inside of the drivers arm rest with storage. The area on the bottom holds 6 CD's no problem.

OK I got two pics before I needed to replace the batteries. I will take a few more today but you can get a good idea from these two. these are from above. You can see how easy it is for the passenger to use the arm rest too.

Is this the "factory Storage" one or some other aftermarket on. I really miss my armrest!

Also, does anyone know if you can attach an armrest to a DX model that does not have an arm rest already?

The arm rest in the pic was Honda's driver side arm rest with storage.

RML, does your favorite passenger use the armrest too? Is it comfortable for her? Or both of you at the same time? Thanks for any thoughts.

The clips are for license/registration/insurance/parking access cards/etc.

I had a glue in version in a toyota.

venture,

My wife does use the arm rest as well. Both when she is driving and when I am. There is no problem with both of us using the armrest at the same time.

The clips are not quite tight enough for me to want to leave my registration and insurance papers in them. I have a sealed envelope type bag I use in the driver's side door pocket.

Does the armrest remain stationary, or will it swivel to allow access to the cupholder area? 8)

Sunstoke,

The armrest does move up and down, you can adjust it a bit as to where you stop it as well.

I tend to drive without it, on short trips, but on the longer ones, I drop it down to get my arm a rest.

What......?.........No "Gangsta Lean"?....

Totally off topic, do you know why attorneys are always buried in a 10 foot hole?

Does anyone's armrest seem to become unconnected from the seat? I have to actually line mine back up and push it back in. It swivels completely around without stopping. Do you think the dealer did something wrong, or is it me?
