: TSB collection?

Hi, I am looking for a collection of all TSBs for the Honda Element 2003. I know that one could by them before but Honda stopped that (for whatever reason?!?!?). And I think that these TSBs should be public information and therefore I don't want to pay for every single copy of it.
There must be someone out there who purchased them before Honda stopped that. Or is there a copyright problem?

I would really appreciate it if someone could let me know how to get those TSBs.

cheers

This is a wonderful site with tons of excellent info, everything from repair procedures to recalls and TSBs.
It's all free, and legal for personal, non-commercial use only.

I just visited the site and it worked just fine. Maybe they were having a temporary problem.

This may be a wonderful site but for creaks and groans coming from inside the vehicle it only lists one problem. My Element is a rattle trap over bumpy roads. There should be a hundred TSB'S for these problems.

They change the password twice a year! We will have to wait for someone to post the new one.

They upgraded the EBSCO site and it appears that they locked down access to public libraries and educational institutions. Check your county or state library to see if they offer access. I saw in a google search that some libraries offer an external link that lets you log in to EBSCO from home using your library card number.

Jackson49, The Suffolk public library offers this through this link:
http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=ip,cpid&custid=morgan&profile=autorefctr
All you need is your library card number.

If you're in the military (retirees too) you can access it with your AKO/DKO login via http://www.libraries.army.mil (http://www.libraries.army.mil/) click on the Ejournals and Ebooks button.

GregP...thanks for the heads up. I hope I can get my library card back in Suffolk. It was revoked because I made too much noise and was distracting the patrons (just kidding). I tried the AKO site but my CAC would not work since it is Navy and not Army so the certificate is not valid. Do you know of a workaround?

Tried the Army Link and it would'nt work, so I called the Phone # for the Navy and they said the Army is limiting the number of retirees on their database. The operator gave me the following url https://www.nko.navy.mil which is the Navy Knowledge Online (NKO). You have to register first and give a fourteen character password (14), then you can log on. Go to the Auto Repair Reference Center and you can look up the TSB's by year, mfg., model etc. Hope this helps.

Because the TSB applies to all Hondas, I looked in other forums. I got this from that other site you guys seem to dislike so much. <http://www.hondasuv.com/members/showthread.php?t=34338>

It basically says that when the dealer installed accessory weight is more than 1.5% of the GVWR or 100#, a warning sticker must be installed.

I now have most of the TSBs in PDF form. I'd willingly upload them, if half of weren't too large

I got them from this webpage, substituting the TSB file names for the one in the link. http://www.in.honda.com/Rjanisis/pubs/SB/A03-032.pdf

Here are the names of the TSB files that relate to the Element 2004 and up. The first two digits are year of manufacture, not the model year.

It appears that the first two digits refer to the year that the TSB came out and not to the year of the vehicle involved.

Yes. The TSB are for the current model in production at the time the TSB was issued, and for earlier models.

I didn't expect to find any describing problems with vehicles that hadn't yet been built when the TSB was being written.
