Apparently, ravens are destroying windshield wipers on cars at the North Cascades (Washington) visitor's center. You've been warned!

When I was in New Zealand, we had the experience of our rental car being assaulted by "Kea" birds -- wild parrots. They went after the wipers and all the rubber seals around the windows. :???:
Funny since it was a rental. Not so funny if it'd been my Element.
They've also been known to steal hikers' boots and otherwise wreak havoc in camp.
Removing temptation
By removing temptations from kea, at human haunts, like boots, packs, food, car window wipers and brightly coloured objects, you can help minimise contact with kea and help to keep this alpine character wild.

I once saw what happened when this guy parked his convertible in a cow pasture. While everyone was caving the cows took a liking to the leather seats. They licked all the finish off the seats and slobbered all over every exposed part of the interior. Car was totalled. LOL

It's all for salt, or at least the taste of it. Rodents chew through wire insulation for the salt content in the insulation

I saw horses destroy a guys truck seats once presumably for the salt/sweat. We knocked on his door, but there was nobody home, the truck windows were electric and there was no other pasture...felt sorry for the guy but we had no options.

We sometimes have to put plastic bags over our outside mirrors cuz the robins attack em and create a mess w/ defecation.
Something about territory and battling rivals.

I find that a 12 gauge with birdshot seems to do wonders on such creatures. :D:D

Something tells me that wouldn't go over too well in a state park.

Ohhh, sure...you just have to develop "leadfoot-itis" after discharging. And you need active camouflage for your Element. Ooh...Just think about it. Active camouflage for the Element.
