Greetings All.
Whenever an install procedure calls for disconnect, you can supply power to the window-radio-etc circuits as follows.
1. purchase a 12v accessory plug with wire attatched. (like aftermarket for cell fone, tv, etc.
2. clip off whatever end is on there and install a 9v connector for a little 9v battery like is in your cheepie toys and electronics. (you can get one at radio shack.)
3. connect observing polarity. +-
4. add a 9v batt, plug into the Element accessory jack, and go about your work.
The radio presets, and body computer will retain all their settings.
I might add- this gadget is available at JC Whitney, but is priced at $12. It is something you can make for free if you keep as much crap around as I do.
