: I really like these wheels, But..
blue-ex 10-05-2006, 08:08 PM ok, not sure where to post this.
I found a nice set of rims I am thinking about buying for my E
But I am not sure what size tire size I should buy ? I would like to put the
18x7.5 Rims.. so any ideas on tire size?
I want to keep everything factory (height wise).
I dont wann lower my E at all.
Here is a pic of the rim http://customwheel.com/custom_wheels/images/BR530-2085.jpg

Rocket Dog 10-05-2006, 08:32 PM I think it belongs on something Jessie James (aka Monster Garage) would build. It probably looks great, I just don't know anymore. :confused:
elementology 10-05-2006, 08:51 PM best bet is to call the company where you want to buy from, they'll give you the specs of what size tire to get to keep it closest to the stock height. Wheels look pretty dope but since its chrome, I'd think twice because when it snows, trucks pour salt on the road causing the chrome on the rim to lose its color and start chipping but you most likely won't have them on when it snows... is that the longest run on sentence ever? heehee
Rocket Dog 10-05-2006, 08:56 PM nbp-ex-awd-clear headlights-hid-pa system that also plays ice cream truck music
Does it really play ice cream truck music?

fas2go 10-05-2006, 11:29 PM Blue EX, those rims are too sweet for a diabetic!!! I could have a Rim-gasm!
tooljedi 10-06-2006, 01:59 PM They are pretty nice.:D I am more of a dull aluminum 5 star guy myself.
blue-ex 10-06-2006, 06:48 PM I went to my local dealership where they have the 07 E in stock
it has black 18" rims,
the wheel size is:
18x7.0 and the Tire size is P225/55 R18 97H
And they are the factory sizes.
First time I have seen the 07 E and its pretty nice. I like the middle consol
but was not really moved that much by the changes.
24K Price tag and I dont think it was all wheel drive,
atleast it was not listed anywhere.
I also like this rim

Gotta have the Bling, Bling baby! Sweet!
blue-ex 10-07-2006, 11:15 AM My E wheel Size is ==> 215/70/r16
Diameter is ==> 27"
I wanna put 20" Rims
The place where I am looking to buy says
==> 255/35 20" Will fit with no rubbing, And I wont need to alter the suspension at all.
So my question, Is this guy correct ?
This will be an online purchase so I need to make sure first hand.
And no better place to ask then here..
:)

lol, I have asked for the first thread to be moved hopefully they will combine the posts. :)
dancetiludrop 10-09-2006, 12:12 AM Blue-EX: I've got 20's on my blue ex-p. if you don't lower the car you won't have any problems at all w/rubbing. If I were you tho I'd go 245/40/20 on the tires, simply to have more rubber on the sidewall....35's are pretty damn thin and the last thing you want is to "curb" your new chrome.
Also, this thread has a lot of tires & wheel sizes to look at.
