I ordered baby some new shoes from H and A, thinking that she probably needed some by now.

When I got the wheels off the brakes were absolutely fine all the way around. I think I've got another 50k left on the pads if I want to run them to the limit. The sliders were fine as well, have rubber sleeves over them.

Just wondering what they make them out of. Toxic waste from the Camden, NJ sewers? Volcanic rocks? Republican brains? Looked like a lot of metal encased in whatever wonder compound they use.

The pads from H and A are the full set, complete with new shims, shim goop, and those springy little things for the front pads.

Looks like you have plenty of pad left. I bet that you could get more than 100K out of them at the rate that you are going. I hope that mine looks the same.

I was just thinking of changing out my pads to get more bite (only 12K on my 06 E).
I'm sure I'm just spoiled by the brakes on my 350Z, but I am considering installing Satisfied ceramic pads. Searching for these, one parts site listed the OE brakes as being ceramic.
Not sure if this is correct or not, but it is causing me to wonder if the replacement will gain me much.
