i just finish installing my system. i took the drivers seat out to run the wires under the floor mat. so i disconnected the seatbelt wire and the air bag wire. now the freekin air bag light stays on. when i turn the engine on. i tried to unplug the battery and reset it but no luck. does anyone have a clue on how to reset the air bag sensor?

only one way to have it reset...........take it back to the dealer....they will have to hook it up to their diagnostic checker to reset the light.

Yup - lizzurd is right. The warning light turn off sequence is a timed procedure and typically requires the dealer to do it. What probably got you was that you disconnected the seat belt wire and then turned on the ignition. This is a big NO NO with honda products because it cause your air bag light to remain on until it is reset. I am speaking with an air of experience here - did the same thing to my 97 Civic and cost $35 to have the light reset.
