We are testing everything to be sure that things are as solid as they now appear, but I think we are back.

Here's a quick summary of what happened. We have a dedicated server for all of our sites (EOC, ROC, CRVOC) and the memory in that server went bad. Memory that is not working correctly can trash a LOT of stuff and it did. We went down on Thursday, managed to get things back online but it was only temporary due to the memory problem. We went back down (and for good) on Friday. It took a lot of time for the server host to get everything corrected and then we had to restore all of the data, reconfigure everything and check things out. What a weekend it has been.

I appreciate your patience during this outage. Sometimes things like this happen and they are out of our control. I'm thankful that we were only down this long and I have to say a special thank you to Chris, our server admin, for working night and day on his own time to help get this corrected. Without him, we'd be screwed. So, thanks, Chris!

We may have a few brief (3-5 minute) outages over the next day or two as we make some various tweaks to optimize the server as it was before.

Another quick note - if you ordered shirts - they arrived at our office on Friday, Julie filled orders all weekend and I'm delivering them to the post office tomorrow. You should have them very soon!
