I took these pictures for another thread, but thought I'd pass them along here as well. It shows my ProClip dash mount, and my iPod and Garmin 360 mounted. You can get an extension plate that allows mounting of both, but I choose to have seperate mounts for each.

I'm Proclipped too. They are nice and keep that clean look about the dash.

Hey, I was onced stationed in Annapolis there at the Naval Radio station where the 1200 ft tower is, up the road from the Severn Inn. Is all that still there? I was last there in 1976. I used to hang around Churchton in my off time.

If you're in the market, also check out the Bracketron and Panavise brackets, pictured here:

Here's my page detailing both brackets. (http://www.red-tail.net/e/bracket/)

I just got the 360 also, but was wondering how the nuvi mounts to the Proclip? Do you have to attach the dash mounting dish to the proclip and then attach the nuvi to it via the suction cup? Thanks.

Nice, clean install.

But with the GPS mounted like that, isn't it a bit low to look at ?
From the pic almost looks like you'd have to look through the steering wheel to see the screen.

I guess I am just used to looking at my sirius radio which is mounted to the top of the dash at eye level.

Keep me posted though, cause I think Santa might be bringing me a GPS unit and I'd like to mount it there.

I just got a Garmin unit, mounted currently with the suction cup on the trim above the stereo. Works pretty well, but in changing temperatures, the suction cup becomes dislodged, and one night it fell on the hazards switch, which stayed on all night in my garage. So, I like this mount, looks a lot more stable. My I-pod stays in the glovebox, got a Pioneer head unit that controls it, with a remote. Sounds way better than the stock stereo did, way more adjustable frequency and filter-wise, and you don't have to look at the i-pod. Very clean.
