Curious to know what the preferred method of E Bathing is?

Hey Diane, after years of 10 dollar car washes with marginal results,my daughter and I decided to start saving the dough and hand wash the cube and the rest of of the cars just like we did in the old days..on the front lawn in the shade with bare feet and the music turned up...I think we have saved about 50 bucks so far and no scratches on the paint!

Touchless car wash here. No fron lawn on which to do it, and the condo car wash sucks.

I'd love to have a poolboy to wash my "E" tho.

I get mine washed at my dealership for free for the lifetime of my car! All I have to do is drive it over there and tell them I want a wash and they clean it inside and out for FREE! :P Yeah!

It was 20 degrees on Saturday, but we've had out SOP E for 10 days and she hadn't seen any suds yet, so it was time. Plus I wanted to put my splash guards on and you can't do that when it's dirty!

Water froze to the windshields. Icicles hung from the fenders. The parking lot was like a skating rink. But she got a good bath.

And then I pulled into the heated garage at the ambulance co. where I work, toweled her off and gave her her first coat of caranuba wax.

I guess everyone was healthy in my town for a couple of hours. Doesn't usually happen that way. The day before I didn't have 5 minutes to myself.

And for the record, the garage has to be heated. By law we can't keep the rigs out in the cold unless they're running, and that gets even more expensive than heating the garage.
