Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the site (which is fantastic) and I'm in the process of purchasing my first Element. I am looking for some advice/opinions. I live in Canada (Ontario) and currently Honda has some good deals - I think! They are offering 2.9% purchase financing for up to 5 years. They also have a gas card incentive of $750 that can be deducted from the purchase price if desired. This means I should be able to pick up a 2007 for close to wholesale (dealer cost) + Freight, PDI & taxes.

I don't necessarily need a brand new Element, but after doing some research, it seems like this deal may be hard to pass up! I'd really appreciate any thoughts/suggestions

2.9 is hard to pass up....I picked up a new 06 about a month ago and the deal was 2.9 for 5years + $2000 off in factory rebates + $2800 off from the dealer (or Honda, however they calculate that) + great trade in value. I was shocked that Honda was being so generous. I've looked at the big H before and always went elsewhere due to their NO negotiation strategy.

My wife bought her 2006 E at the end of august paid full price because it was the only Tangerine Mist in the Maritime and that was the only colour she wanted no deall from the dealer but she got 1.9 percent for 4 years lease. I will buy my next E in the US.

Its a good deal - excellent lease rate - I think mine is 4.9 or 5.4%.

I would go for it before Honda comes to their senses...

Hello JRL. Try to put All Season Mats and winter plus all season tires in the deal.

For 1000$ extra, I got 4 new stealies, 4 new Toyo winter tires, all season mats and 3 years / 60 000 km Honda pLus extended warranty.

For me, it was over 2000$ if I would have bought allo this separately.

Good luck and keep us posted :)

p.s. Yeah, my 50th post!!! :)
