BoomBox03 12-12-2006, 06:35 PM First off I wanna say sorry for creating a thread when we already have a ton to show off our Elements.... but my net sucks cause I live out in the boonies and my comp froze trying to open the thread Bigred1 started cause of all the pix..... So I figured I'd do this to see more Es like mine and finally show my E.
Very stock right now.... I plan on getting splash guards, fog lights, chrome exhaust-pipe finisher, EOC decals (badge:rolleyes: ), and back bumper trim.

She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts! I'm made a few special modifications myself!
BoomBox03 12-12-2006, 07:39 PM hmm.... How much do the reflecters cost and where can I get them?
hiker chick 12-12-2006, 08:01 PM Some oldies but goodies.

The hood bug deflector $48 & the window vents shades $43? These prices are really good compared to other places & eBay! Mine are made by Lund. The cheapest place I found to get them was the Summit Racing website. It just took a little while to get them, but I saved quite a few bucks! :D :D
I really like them a lot, and I swear the bug deflector helps with the rocks on the hood and windshield! :D
hiker chick 12-12-2006, 08:29 PM Never thought I'd like green so much. Goes so nicely with snow, trees and my dog.
:)
BoomBox03 12-12-2006, 08:42 PM Thanks guys for the prices and ideas and thanks to all of ya for the pix! Hiker Chick, where do yo live that you get that much snow? I used to live in Montana and haven't seen that much snow in about 9years... I miss it..
hiker chick 12-12-2006, 08:53 PM Hiker Chick, where do yo live that you get that much snow?
Believe it or not, those snow pics are from Washington, D.C. - February 2006. Occasionally, we get some... And my snowshoes are ready for the next storm.
:)
BoomBox03 12-12-2006, 09:02 PM Haha wow D.C. huh? We got about 2 inches (4 inches in some drifts!) here in Norman for about 3 days. My Element did good in the weather. I was happy.

We should have an emergency, pre-snowplows, E meet/caravan if we get a big snow. That'd be fun!
I'll likely be heading out to Great Falls NP to snowshoe.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!
:)

Honestly, you get that much snow in Great Falls park? I have only visited there in the summer months so I don't know. That is so weird that you guys get so much snow only being 3 hours away! I wish we would get some of that here!
lizzurd 12-13-2006, 04:49 PM I dont have mine any more....but i still have a few pics....
BoomBox03 12-13-2006, 05:22 PM Wow that's kinda weird you said Great Falls park cause I lived in Great Falls. Montana.
uukbar 12-13-2006, 05:42 PM Some oldies but goodies.

Rocket Dog 12-13-2006, 07:10 PM I just want to say, even though I have a Kiwi, I like GGM better.
There..I said it.
BoomBox03 12-13-2006, 08:01 PM lol its all good. At least you admited it. Got the off your chest. you should feel better.

Great Falls is just outside the Beltway, on the Potomac River. In that storm, they got several more inches than the city.
A few miles can make a big difference.
hiker chick 12-13-2006, 10:30 PM wow, i really like that first pic with all the snow!! it shows that the E can be quite a trooper!
I was amazed! The E literally plowed the street and up a steep, curved driveway.
Effortless.
I'm so jazzed at what it could do with the chains that I have never used.
hiker chick 12-13-2006, 10:34 PM Wow that's kinda weird you said Great Falls park cause I lived in Great Falls. Montana.
Given a choice, I'd definately opt for the Montana Great Falls!
Great Falls National Park on the Potomac is a jewel. Thank goodness someone had the foresight to preserve it for the public as a national treasure rather than doom it to McMansionville.
Pretty cool to walk in the canals that George Washington oversaw!
The Redskins owner, Dan Snyder, cut down a bunch of trees to build his monstrosity across (upstream a bit) the river, on the Maryland side. That could easily have been the fate of Great Falls NP.
BoomBox03 12-13-2006, 11:47 PM That would have sucked to have lost all of the park.... I couldnt imagine that happeneing up in Monatana. Great thing about Great Falls up there was that I was nestled in the rockies: 5 mins from the Missouri River and its streams, 30 mins from the snowboarding slopes and surounded by skate parks and national parks.... I miss that place. Oh, and like 3-5 deet of snow average in the winter.... Twas a white christmas every year.:-(
tooljedi 12-14-2006, 07:27 AM I have been to Great falls NP and Great Falls Montana. Both places are nice!
GFNP is cool to watch the Kayaks playing in the River! The canals are cool two. Richmond has a canal park as well (not as grand as GFNP) and a newly finished (a few years ago) canal walk!
Great Falls Montana was a stop over from a visit to Glacier National Park. I stayed there heading back South East from the park to our next stop!
Hiker Chick - do you ever go to Lake Accotink Park? I used to hike and Mountain Bike there with buds going to George Mason many moons ago!
BoomBox03 12-14-2006, 09:04 AM Thats awsome Jedi. Where'd did you stay at in GFM? I'll prolly know where your talking about.

I'll have to think back. It was in 95. My brother and I traveled several Thousand miles on that trip! One thought that sticks out was we were happy to find a rock radio station in Great Falls! I remember a duck race on the river that day! We were there in mid August! I will thumb through my photo album later and post more tommorrow! :-D
Big sky doesn't descibe it enough in that whole region of the United States!
