I had this installed Thursday at Best Buy. I also opted for an additional $15 superloud horribly piercing siren that would make a car thief's ears bleed.

The very nice guy at Best Buy also hooked up my alarm to also sound the Element's horn (that's just the regular alarm chirp noise for on/off, not the horrible siren.) We also adjusted the sensitivity so that if my neighbor's kitty decides to jump on the hood, it won't go off, but a more serious thump will definitely set it off.

Obviously this is a pretty new system for me, but I hope for good things from it. I will keep you all advised.

Why not have the alarm go off if you neighbors cat is jumping up on your E? That's what I call obedience training. :wink:

Install was free, alarm was $219 and I don't have the model number with me. I'll get that when I'm back at home.
