Jumping My E (http://videos.streetfire.net/video/1e8348ea-5bf6-4423-8c5f-98a3002b151d.htm)

The dumbest thing I have ever done in my E. I hit it at 45-50mph. I did it in a kids 200sx SE-R a week before at +50mph...we really got air in that.

No one around...but still really dumb...not doing that again.

I have to say, the E took it well

I got air in my moms 81 Dodge Colt RS with the twin stick 4 spd. Broke the coil springs when she found out she was pissed, think it was cause she almost crashed. OOPS. It took 5 yrs for me to fes up to that one. I Also found out how fast her Dodge Lancer ES Turbo went too dam thing redlined before shifting(auto) and first shifted into second at 55. What a rush.

was'nt the Pinto a rolling bomb?

it was. my dad worked for Grumman, and the machine shop made a Titanium heat shield, and puncture shield for mine. it's nice to have aircraft engineers around when you are modding $hitty cars. lol.

Vanessa Kensington: That's you in a nutshell.

Austin Powers: No, this is me in a nutshell: "Help! I'm in a nutshell! How did I get into this bloody great big nutshell? What kind of shell has a nut like this?"

I did that in a 1986 Chrysler LeBaron on a local road that was nicknamed "Roller Coaster Road." It was a 1.4 milegravel road with no houses on it. The last half mile had these really sharp but not too tall hills on it. With almost a mile to get a running start, when I hit that last hill, I was going 85 (what, the car was an 85 hp slug) and I caught pretty dang nice air. I tried it later in my much faster '89 Bonneville and quickly discovered how scary that road could really be with a car that actually moved.

Unfortunately, a couple of years ago, some kids got killed doing the exact same stupid **** that I was doing on that same stretch of road...

Oh, in response to the Pinto comment... Yeah, the thing had a reputation as "The barbeque that seats four," but only 27 people ever died in Pinto fires, which is pretty comparable to every other subcompact from the '70s. Check out this link (http://www.pointoflaw.com/articles/The_Myth_of_the_Ford_Pinto_Case.pdf) if you're really bored and want to read up on it.

My old Roomates Dad worked as a Mechanic for UPS here in Nebraska back in the early 80s. He used an old tire in place of your Titanium heat sheild...ha,ha,ha...True story! Boom!!!! ....Nooooo it didn't blow up but, the tire thingy is true. :)

Growing up in San Francsico, we could get air driving down Delores and a few other streets that went downhill leveled off at cross streets and continued down hill.
