Here's some pics I took of the Zizzle toy. For good measure, I've included a matchbox E and a quarter for scale. The zizzle is a lighter orange, with less metal flake in the paint than the matchbox. The proportions are much better than the matchbox, but still fall short of the Ebbro car. It has no interior, due to the electronics in that area. Unfortunately, none of the doors/hatch open. The tires actually have a tread pattern and appear to be rubber. The spring mechanism that turns on the sound effects also gives it the impression that the car has a suspension. All the windows are darkly tinted, making it very difficult to see the insides, but only two screws hold it together. It's not so complicated that you can't take it apart, see how it ticks and easily put it back together.

It's labeled a 2005 4WD EX, but missed the mark slightly by not having the rear sunroof or the antenna. The coloring is mostly correct, even to the point of having the accessory foglights painted. Note the chrome wheels also. All of the plastic paneling is a uniform color, although darker than stock, unlike the matchbox, which has a lighter grey on the top area.

The underside is reasonably detailed, with suspension, exhaust and even the gas tank being moulded into the bottom piece.. It has a three position switch for the sound effects:on, off, and try me. It uses three small AG13 (LR44) 1.5v button cell batteries. The battery cover is held on by one screw and the batteries are easy to replace.

You push down on the car to make the sounds. By pushing down, it closes a switch and plays the sound bite. The car is made of die cast metal, so it'll hold up to some punishment. It also makes a great candidate for a paint job project to make the other Element colors.

Thanks Bellz.
Mine was to be shipped on Tuesday and should arrive in a few days. When it does, I'll take a picture of it with my others and post it.:D

Thanks, Bellz, for spreading the word on this and arranging the group buy. I got mine yesterday and like it a lot. This model is a good value, not as detailed as the Ebbro but much more affordable! I updated my miniatures page to include it.

Oh, the skylight comes with 4WD, not the EX trim level. What's strange about the Zizzle is that it (like the Ebbro and Matchbox) has no skylight yet has a rear differential molded into the underside.
