Hello,

I just bought a used 2003 E "as is" and discovered the head unit is defective. The LCD display will go blank and then none of the buttons work. It will accept a CD and play it also so it's kinda useable.

I've looked a the threads to install 3rd party headunits but I can't decipher the instructions to attempt this myself.

Do car stereo stores have the expertise to install a head unit and integrate it into the existing sub, Aux and speakers?

If I went this route I'd like to have a head unit that will do Sirius also.

Any phots of your 3rd party install would be appreciated.
