And it's amazing the difference between the two.
Here's our story: We had driven the Element when it first came out, but went for a Pilot. Fast forward three years. I've since bought a Scion xB as my daily driver (traded my '03 Dodge Ram, which was Graphite Metallic) and my wife has traded her Pilot for an '06 Mazda 3 in Titanium Silver Metallic. When the '07 Mazda MX-5 Miata PRHT (Power Retractable Hard Top) was announced, I placed an order for one in... you guessed it... Galaxy Grey. 3.5 months later I drove her home.
She quickly became my daily driver (my xB was my daily driver before, because the '96 that resides in the garage is loud, low, and generally not a great daily driver because of the major modifications she has had) and mizzphinz was driving the xB.
Mizzphinz has knee problems, and she found herself missing the Pilot's interior space. Her solution? Trade my xB for an Element. She was looking at the EX when the SC came out. I steered her that direction, because I like the painted bumpers and roof sections.
To make a short story even shorter, we bought our SC in Galaxy Grey yesterday, so everything came full circle.
I had no idea the Mazda and Honda colors were so different, but here's an unretouched photo to show how much brown is in the Element compared to the Miata. As a comparison, my wife's Titanium 3 makes my Miata look like it has gold in the paint.
I've been registered here for a while, but I think this might be my first post.
