Anyone found a 'Magic Bullet' to help keep the windows clean longer. My Dobe, ATOLL just loves to press his nose against the windows (since I can't open them). I sometimes think he is checking to see if HE can push them open. He 'learned' to flip the latches on all three gates in the backyard to open them. Even after I placed 'snap links' in all the padlock holes, he'll check to see if I've forgotten to replace them.
Consequently all the rear windows get (doggie smudge) marks frequently. Has anyone found that a certain type of window cleaner, or additive will repel nose contact (could use it on the Rear & Rear Panel windows), or that something like 'RainX' will lessen 'smudges'? I know frequent window cleaning is one of the 'pleasures' that comes with dog ownership, but would like to do it less frequently.
I really wish Honda would adopt my suggestion that they make the rear passenger windows 'removable', like the skylight. Or better yet, pop-out (like now) AND '1/2 sliding open' (like the old 4-Runner). Then there would be one or two 'openings' that ATOLL could 'stick his nose out', and lessen the 'window probes'.

I wonder if an autoglass place could build a slide into one of the existing windows.... my dog loves the E, except for the "no open window" factor.

The back of my E is nose print central. I'm not sure about a smudge repellent but I do keep a pack of these Plegde Multi Surface Wipes in the E. After the dogs go for a ride I just use one of these to wipe clean the back windows. They work great and don't leave any streaks.

Thanks for the 'Pledge' tip. Unfortunately, I keep one rear seat down/reclined (for a doggie perch) and would have four windows (2 rear passenger, 1 rear panel, hatch) to do everytime ATOLL takes a trip. Seems like he has to 'mark' everyone that he can get to.

With two dogs ...........windex and elbow grease
Seems as soon as I clean the windows we are off on another ride
Just bite the bullet and realize you'll never have clean windows again.

I agree, plus it adds character to your windows, almost an artsy touch

Seriously, the best I've found is just ordinary Windex... after about the third time they look good - till the boys go for a ride again... :)

Go for the tear-offs that race car drivers use on windshields and helmet visors?

Could get expensive...but would keep the glass clean.

Microfiber cloths from Costco work REALLY well. They're bright yellow, and come in a good sized package... and only $10.00 !
