I am looking for a 2007 Element for my wife and would like to know who offers the best price no haggle for Hondas in Georgia.

I've got nothing but good things to say about Honda MOG. I own two hondas (03 element, 05 accord coupe) and take them both to their service department. Tried to buy the element from Gwinnett Place and all they did was give me the run around.

Now I had a totally different experience with Gwinnett Place Honda. Mine was great, but I went in knowing exactly what I wanted (EXP, manual, etc.), had a specific price in mind (with a lot of research here), financing already set up through my credit union, and a significant down payment (no trade). It also helped to know our salesman. The wife is in the car business, and car sales people move very frequently so that helped.

We also walked after the first test drive when they couldn't meet what we wanted to pay.

Bottom line, I think everyone has good and bad experiences with most dealers.

i absolutly hated milton martin honda!!! when i first started talking to them..i was looking for NBP...i drive fours hours from tenn to see SOP sitting there...then they gave me the run around after they messed up...we finally settled on the SOP drove back down the next weekend and they sold me the car without having the loan finalized...once we get all that worked...the car had a leak which took them all day to fix after i narrowed down where it was for them...then i go to put the roof rack on and it was missing the mounts on the element..i took it back to them the sales said it was a service problem and the service said it was a sales problem...it took me writing a 3 page letter to corporate honda to get the problem fixed...corporate honda yes milton martin no

Hated Gwinnett place, hated Ed Voyles. Bought at Hennesey in Woodstock and was very happy. Granted, that was almost 4 years ago. It depends on who you get and what kind of day they're having.

I agree with Dan, it depends who you get and what kind of mood they're in and how many bills they've got to pay.

I've gone to Gwinnett Place the past three cars I've bought, an Odyssey and two Elements.

Each time I walk in with printouts from CarsDirect and Edmunds, and tell them what I want to pay. When they stammer and hem and haw and talk about "impossible!" I get up to leave, they stop me, and agree on the price. I'm three for three. I think the problem they have with me is that I won't sit there for hours negotiating a price, I don't give them the chance to wear me down. The first new car I bought, the dealership had me there for four hours before I walked out and told them I would never come back.

I imagine it's like that wherever you go. I also imagine that, armed with all the information and pricing you can get, you can walk in and set a fair price.

i cant remember off the top of my head...it was people from the used cars..it was two younger guys they were the first two desks right when you walk into that trailer...but the dealership as a whole was a bad experience

Does anyone know when the new pricing goes into effect? I had a deal almost worked out and they added $5xx due to new pricing from Honda.

I purchased a used 06 EX-P AWD from Gwinnett Place - I spent hours getting $4k knocked off the window price, but in the end was satisfied w/the deal.

Then got home and saw that my negotiated price was the asking price for my E at GP Honda on the main Honda certified cars web site - so why the $4k higher window price and the 2-3 hours of negotiations?? The window price was also $1k higher than the GP Honda website. I bought on New Years Eve.

I also visited Carey Paul Honda in Snellville - there was a used car salesman (I think the name was Joe Baptiste) there who was very professional. He just didn't have what I needed in inventory.

Edited for wrong location.

Well its done. Bought from Milton Martin. They came and picked me up, drove it home to surprise my wife then came by the house later to do the paperwork.

Wanted to add, it is not Ed Voyles Honda! One of the worst Service experiences of my life.
Charged me for a warranty repair where I supplied the (H&A) parts, then argued with me that they deserve to be paid for their time. Customer is not right at Ed Voyles.
I tried them because they are very close to work, major service, warranty repair and I thought it would save me some time. Now I know that saved time was not worth the aggravation or cost of dealing with them.
I will not go back, ever, and I would encourage anyone in this area to drive to Woodstock.

I think that new pricing is just a bunch of crap. I came from Washington state and had that adjusted market value on every Honda. When I purchased my Pilot last year they wanted 43k before taxes. I ended up paying only 32k for a EX-L Navi.

I only use Honda Carland. Haven't had their kind of service anywhere else, including Curry, MoG, Hennessey, etc.
