How about some unique tires for your unique vehicle? Personally, I think this is going to take some getting used to.

Man, it's gonna be fun when somebody parks those in a puddle, in December and they freeze right to the ground. Slush is also going to be a problem in cold states.

As a senior citizen, I'm curious about the whitewall tire configuration to go with the landau top and opera light mods I have planned for the Element.

Another pic...

Kinda reminds me of the Conestoga wagon I drove west during the gold rush in '49.

Excellent point, gMike, and as a fellow Minnesotan, I can attest to one broken axle on "ordinary" wheels/tires one winter, long ago. Then again, consider the "publicity photo" vehicle was an Audi...it's probably against the law for slush to accumulate in Germany! (The Germans have a knack for legislating out of existence, things that displease them...)

I think I read about these for military vehicles like Hummers. If the tires get shot there is no air to leak out you just keep going. I imagine they get rubber around them.

They look like they are good for about 5 trips to Dunkin Donuts before they have to be replace...

The test Data on them shows the usable tread life to be 50,000 miles !

The test did not include Handling data! I wonder Why.

It may be the way they take the curves. The other items listed compared well to the standard tire. Stopping distances were good, The same for wet pavement tests. No data on cornering ability. Strange from this company !

The after market rim boys are not going to like this one!

Ok now all you E owners install them! That way we wont have to look at another Tire pressure Thread !

Do you know if these "tires" are actually for sale yet, or is it a prototype? I would consider them for a smaller car but not my E.
