Howdy y'all!
I'm going to be moving to Nashville, but am looking for places to live. Not in the city, but in the burb's. Where are nice places to live? I've been looking toward the east and south of Nashville. Thoughts?
Thanks!

I've applied for work in LaVerne and also am looking at the option of woring from home. I'd rather not commute much if I can help it. I've heard the traffic there is bad.

If you're working that far south of Nashville I'd look into Murfreesboro, its a pretty nice little area... however, a lot of people commute into Nashville from the south and traffic along that little stretch is horrible! Franklin, to the west is another great community. Its a bit more expensive however. A number of your Christian and country music artists tend to gravitate there.
If you decide to work from home, I'm more familiar with north of the city. And it can get fairly country, fairly quick. My best friend lived in Greenbrier for a long while, and worked in Springfield. Both are wonderful towns.

You've left out a letter in one of those words. I'm hoping it was a 'k' and not an 'h'. :D
Anyhoo, just check out the areas when you get down there. Murfreesboro is a nice, small college town. LaVerne itself and nearby Smyrna might be to your liking as well. Neither area is too awfully expensive, from what I've heard. (Certainly not as bad as Franklin/Brentwood.)

I'm hoping to be a little closer to Nashville than further away. I'll keep my eye out for those other places.
An no, I won't be whoring from home...it will be working...legit work...IRS accepted work!

And just think...It hasn't rained here in a while! Humidity hasn't been as bad this year. Anyways, welcome to TN. If you see a ASM 06 EX-P with a putnam county tag and an EOC sticker its me. I am just down I-40 in Cookeville, but I spend a lot of time in Hermitage on the weekends with my wife's family.
