: First Service and Bad Tires. (kinda long)

Hi everyone.

Just picked up my E from its first scheduled service. Got the oil changed, tires rotated, rocking driver's seat fixed, SRS light reset, and the removable back seat covers shimmed. Cost me 43 bucks at Victory Honda in Plymouth, MI.

The dealer was fine to deal with mostly. My one problem is my front tires, now on the back and worn evenly, are worn down to the lines on the treads. This after only 9920 miles! The service department basically shrugged and told me to go to a local Goodyear dealership, complain, and try to make a warranty claim.

I asked, "What if the GY dealer says the Honda is at fault and tough luck". The service rep shrugged again and said American Honda wouldn't be liable for it.

My main thing is if anyone else has worn out tires?

TIA

Harry

The tires are under a separate warranty (at least mine are), that was given to me at the time of sale. Goodyear is a solid brand, you should be able to get a new set free if you aren't over the miles of the warranty I think.

Does anyone know what is the milage warranty on our stock tires?

30K, 40K, 50K etc?
