Hello Everyone! I've been lurking around here for about a week now, but I finally set aside enough time to post a picture of my "new" Element. I just bought a 2006 LX 4WD from Sam Swope Honda World in Louisville, Kentucky, and I'm very pleased with it! It had 2600 miles, and it is perfect in every way! :D After saying "No" several times, the dealer offered me the HondaCare Certified Warranty "Upgrade" at a very reasonable price, so I'm hoping for 7 years of trouble free ownership. ;D It's a funny story, really. I was looking at Civics, and I just couldn't commit to buying one. I like them, but I'm 6'6" and even though I fit in them well enough, I wasn't completely comfortable. I also looked at the Fit, but it was pretty much the same experience. Then, I noticed my RR Element sitting in the used lot. I was shocked by the mileage, and when I sat down in it I had a very stong urge to buy it right then and there! I drove it and confirmed my first insticts and bought it that day. I learned while buying it that the previous owner was 4'11", and that she was having a hard time adjusting to the size having come out of a Civic hatchback... so she traded it in after only a few months for a Fit. I thought it was a little strange that I was trying to go too small and that she had tried too go to big. Anyhow... this is a great site. I'm looking forward to seeing you all around! Also, I totally recommend Sam Swope Honda World... those guys were really great!

I appreciate all the responces! One of the things I have discovered that I miss about my old car is the people on the message boards that I frequented that are devoted to that model. I'm glad that I picked a car that has such an active online community. Thanks again for making me feel at home.
