I want to be able to play downloaded mp3 in my element. I don't want to spend $400 for the factory mp3/cd player. Any suggestions that will look good and be inexpensive???

Thanks!

I have recommendations for you but I need to know what your actual budget is. I know you plan to spend less than $400 but the question is - how much less? :D

Find a good local car stereo shop and ask their advice. I own a shop and always suggest buying from a local dealer. That way if you do have a problem they will be there to help you out. As for our store we carry Pioneer and Kenwood and both are very reasonable on both price and quality. Pioneer has a model DEH-p5500mp witch has a suggested retail price of around $279.95 Check it out! If you want something with off the hook Graffics check out Kenwood Excelon KDC-X869 This is my favorite mp3 player this year. It has a retail price of about $479.95

Invest i a pda with a 256 MB flash card. I can hold about 10-15 albums on it and I get to use it at work or anywhere else.
