a kit so i can install a aftermarket radio. one of the main reasons i went with a LX is because i plan on adding a nice system too it, but the first thing to do when building a system is to get a new deck, so i need the kit. im not good enough to make a custom kit.

Ok, well I had an 04 LX and the good thing is you already have the kit:D , If you take your head unit out you will find it uses a kit to put the factory head unit in. All you have to do is unbolt the factory unit and install your new HU. You might have to drill some holes in the metal brackets to align your new HU but thats all.you will also do good to get the harness adapter, easy to find at Circuit City, Best Buy or Crutchfield. Now go forth and install:D Drew:)

boxE- thanks for the info. im probably going to have to take it somewhere to get the stereo put in mainly because i live in a appartment building and i dont have any space to work, and my tools are all at my dads house. i will take it to a good shop here and let them know about the dash kit. ill seek out a small decent shop close to me. after working at a best buy in the car audio department there is no way i am letting a installer from best buy or circuit city touch my E.
