So after putting in my fosgate 12 with fosgate 2250 series amp, i decided that i wanted to match my other speakers with my sub. SO i went and bought the lastest USB connection kenwood KDC reciever. Sadly i have the creative Zen MP3 player, so i wasnt able to use the USB connection, but if i would have gotten an I-Pod, then i could hook it straight to the cd-player.

Well im getting the RCA cable installed so i can use my MP3 player tomorrow, then ill be set. BUt WOW the factory speakers are tens times louder...going to upgrade to either some fosgate or alphine 6 1/2s cause i know im going to blow my factory...just wanted to say that if you like sound, then get a new head unit and you will see a huge change in your stereo system...

If you're upgrading your fronts, you should look into elemental designs. Dunno what price range you're looking at, but their eDi 6000v.2 (http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=49) 6.5" comps are great. You can mount them as components or as coaxials. They're 135 shipped.

Sleek, did you bypass the factory amp? Just wondering cause I put my Pioneer in next week
