Now is probably a good time to stat to organize another "E-Vent".

How does Sunday September 14th sound?

We could plan cruise to some place like Grand Bend, the Forks of the Credit or Niagara Falls.

Hopefully there will be lots of other "E" Owners there with other colours and options to show. Start working on getting your dealer to sponsor us.

Sounds good. I know where Niagara Falls is but I don't know where the other places are. Sunday usually seems like a good day for most people.
I hope we can get this thing organized. I'll try to ask my Honda dealer that's here in Brantford some time next month if there's anything that they could do for us.

Count me in. Grand Bend is a bit of a haul from here, tho.

I prefer Niagara Falls as there are some good places to cruise. Imagine a couple of dozen "E" blocking Lundy's Lane.

We could meet at the Jet Boats at Niagara on the Lake and possibly take a run up the river and then cruise into The Falls.

Hopefully we can get some "E Brothers and Sisters" over from the States to join us.

Just some thoughts....any other ideas?

Bluffs are also good. There's a DQ on Queen St out there. Not sure they have adequate parking, but it would be nice to enjoy a DQ treat with friends.

I love DQ. Maybe we could do something like what we did at the Tim Horton's, except without the drive through. Is there a website for these bluffs you're all talking about?

I found this link when searching "Scarborough Bluffs" on Google. http://www.boldts.net/Scar-Bluffs.shtml I found it only for the pictures of the Bluffs, not the additional information there.

Having never been there I'm looking forward to it.

This day should be good for everyone..
because for whom have school or kids..
This is the sunday before school or kids school start,
if on September 7 sunday, alot of thing to get ready before school start.
I will guess alot of E-Member may not able to come if on September 7 or after school start.

I'd come but I'll likely be away at the lake on the long weekend. Unless they're calling for rain every day like they are for this weekend. :(

Hey there-
I might be in- but definitely need ASAP those directions and schedule start to finish-its 3.5 hours on 402 and 401 for me(to 401 and Dixie Rd. -wherever the bluffs are in relation to that area) -so need to plan early and clear the slate-for probably Sun/Mon or Sat/Sun.

So what's happening? Scarbourough Bluffs sounds like a good place. Has anybody said that they'd be the person to organize what we're doing and when? I was thinking that maybe we could hold this 'E'-vent mid-September. That way people can plan ahead and it will still be warm enough to go outside.

hey guys, i dont own an element (im only 16) but my dad has a blue Y package, maybe i can talk him into going, but unfortunitly i start school on the 1st of september, i think the one in burlington he would have went to, but we didnt have an element, he was just looking into it and saw all you guys together with your Es, eventually he bought it, i love the car, i have my G1 so i have drivin it a couple of times, i guess it takes some practice considering my drivers Ed car is an old neon, and i also use my moms old car, so the element was different, kinda fun to drive though, anyways ill try to see if i can get him into it so i can come (they are fun to ride in)... by the way we are in barrie

It would be great to have you and your Dad out to the meet. I amd a few other people have modified our Elements and would be ahppy to show off the "E"-ccessories.

we only have a stock one, my brothers friend who wanted an element, but bought a subaru impreza, i guess is going to sell his impreza and get the element, hes pretty outgoing so it should be soon, plus its sweet cause he will deifintly goto the meets and said he can bring me! (he also goes to subaru meets) so it will be cool! if and when he gets it ill have to get pictures of them together in the driveway :D

element-b I'm envious of you. I'm going for my G2 right now and I've only ridden in an Element once at the 'E'-vent that you mentioned. It was isketerol's that I was in actually. And you're right, they are fun to be in, even in the back where you can't see out of the windshield because of the roof's slope. Hope to see you, your dad, and his E there.

i dont think i will be going, my dad isnt going anyways, so im out for this one guys! oh well its kinda short timing. P3,FOYFN, i wish i was getting my G2 soon, i had an in car today and it was my first time on the highway, anyways its not like i always get to drive the element, i only have 2 times, i doubt i will again for along time, its not like im in a rush, i mean im getting used to driving, so i dont want to have to get used to driving all over again (it is that different to drive).... whatever though its not a huge deal to me....

I'm located in London. I do not own an E yet but am seriously considering purchasing one soon. Probably before the snow falls because I have no winter/allseasons for my Integra (only summers).

Anyways, I like this idea of the Honda Elements owner club. I'd like to make it out sometime next summer. But a few questions:
1) Is there a web site?
2) How often are the meets?
2b) Are they ever outside the GTA? :)) I'd like to go to Grand Bend, Wasaga Beach, Turkey Point, etc :)

1) This is our web site. Who needs any other. :lol:
2) We have had one meet, and are hoping to have another. Some other members in North America have had local meets.
3) We could do meets outside of the GTA, but it's a bit of a hike for many of us to those places. Make a suggestion for a meet and see what the reaction is. You might be pleasantly surprised to find other Elementals who want to meet up.

I don't know if you have had the meet yet but I live just up the street from the bluffs. If you are still going to have it please reply.

This is timely, as I think part of the delay in having the meet is getting someone to plan it. Short of planning a run through Scarborough to or from the Bluffs, would anyone be interested in a simple meet-and-greet?

I will set up a poll for this in this forum.

I vote for a meet and greet. Fall is busy and weather can be unpredictable.
We could have a ride and drive plan and people can decide to go at the meet.
