If you get rid of those silly wheels, take off the HD decals, and take off the orange stipe you just might have a decent E for a good price:twisted:

Oh, 'come on... I am not a big fan of over mods, but this one does look really clean, and still has a lot of life left in it. I think $10K is a good deal for such a clean package...
P.S. I am no HD fan by any stretch, but this doesn't look overdone much. Not my style but not bad either... :-)

Why would it be a Harley Davidson and not a Honda ? Seems pretty silly to me...can you pull off those ugly emblems ?

I love my Honda and I love Harleys, but I cant see mixing the 2 together. That E wouldnt look half bad if they would ditch the Harley badges.

no reason to hate on the guys E, it's not as if he put on fake wood wallpaper and called it a WoodiE. lol Yes, there have been a few of those.

All anyone would need to do was pull off the 3 HD emblems on the outside, peel off the winshield HD sticker and remove the HD emblem from the steering wheel and pull out the HD floor mats, then you have a nice E for $10k.

Honestly I see nothing wrong with this Element. It has far nicer stickers and badges then we've seen put on brand new Elements by Honda Dealers.

I dont care for the chrome rims....never have with the exception of old muscle cars......but i like it....still wouldnt do it to mine....but no one complained when ford did it to the F-series trucks.

But wasn't the F-150 offered with an optional HD motorcycle?

I can see the guy doing that if he has a black and red Harley and tows it with his E!!!! Probably would be a good looking package...

I could be mistaken because they were always shown with the matching truck and I know i've seen a few around here with an HD in the bed with matching paint... could have been done by the owner and not bought that way.

Yes Larry, They did try that. One of the local gear heads around here got the package. They did not sell very well, so the dealers ended up sending the bikes back. They were able to sell the trucks with no trouble to Harley owners.

I have seen the package being offered as a prize at Foxwoods, and the Indy 500 raffle !

I agree with lizzurd. Not really my taste but the effect to match the same tweaks that Ford did is pulled off pretty well and not overdone. Kind of creative thinking to fit his style with the vehicle we all like. You gotta like a guy that gets a "from the beginning" 03 Element, mods it out, and cranks out 100K miles of, I'm sure, enjoyable cruising.

Its been interesting to see this E's impression. I've always wanted to see a Herbie the Love Bug style Element. Anyone ever seen one like that?

I think it looks good. The only problem I have with it is that Honda makes motorcycles and is a competitor to HD so you'd never see an official HD-E.

My unsubstantiated understanding is that Harley makes WAY more off their merchandise than they do on their bikes. You can want to be a Harley person without owning a Harley, so it makes sense to me!

HD is a cult that has a motor cycle in it somewhere... It it were strictly for the bike one kind find better contenders, even though Porsche has been doing all of its engine design and engineering since the EVO1... In all reality the bike is more closely related to the BMW than to the Indian, but who counts...??? :-I
It is all in the believe!!!

Sure, to each their own, but has it got pipes?

Keep your noise out of my ears. Many Harleys would exceed exposure limits in the workplace, should be illegal IMO.

Guess it depends on the year of the bike. Ours is an 06 Ultra Classic, runs wonderfully and woundn't think of leaving oil on the driveway.
