Is there a system that allows you to hook up my Ipod Nano to my system like the new set ups for the 2007?

Depends on your trim level. Fill out your profile and I am sure someone can point you in the right direction. We just need to know if it is an EX, LX, and if you have done any stereo upgrades already.

Griddoc, you have an EX. Why can't you plug the Ipod into the aux input jack?

but I would like something to the 2007 gizmo where you can charge and play as well. I have a jack and a long cable, but no way to charge and I would like to get a good set up for my E.

What is this gizmo you refer to on 2007s? Does your Ipod not allow you to plug its power cord into the power socket on the dash?

I think you're looking at having features available on newer Honda's having a direct ipod hookup. Up until last year most Honda radios had an aux input allowing someone to connect an MP3 player or satellite radio. Then you need to control the device with the device itself. The newer HU have the ipod link which is like a dock for ipods, you can control it and it's powered through the HU. Your best bet is to just buy a new head unit. Most major brands now have an ipod hookup where the ipod is controlled through the head unit controls. Clarion has a new unit coming aout in April with no cd player. It'll play songs directly from an SD card (up to 1000 songs right now).
