This was on the RonJonSportDesign.com website. I hope someone on the boards owns this. I'd really like to know how you painted the sides of the doors, I love my panels, but my E seems so unfinished with out paint on them, but I'd rather try this than paint the panels.

If someone knows how this was done, let me know

If my E had the unpainted panels I'd rock that style for sure.

He should take it to Honda and get them to smash some weights into the lips of his wheels

I hate wheel weights. is it that much more expensive to not mash them on the lip?

yeah, I found the RonJon site because i was about to buy some 18s for my Accord, and I saw the E and I thought, damn that's sweet, mine could look like that to. Apparently ROnJon engineers their rims specifically for Honda and Acuras...
No ideas on how the panels were done? Primer w/ a clear? Some kind of truck lining, but not Rhino Liner?

Sweet E, indeed, but even better? Three canucks snorting beer out their nostrils on the first page of a single thread, over last night's inside joke? (Still back-pedaling!)

that "E" is sweet! people put the weights behind the spokes to hide them. i did it to my wheels. it gets the same effect from putting them on the lip.

Some have said that the view from behind the E is its worst angle. If they had only continued the cladding at the same height of the rear fenders, i.e. the upper edge of the tail lights, I think it woulda been much better.

Wow, that really looks great!

Such a simple idea makes the E look so much different and in a good way, too.
Looks like I'll be spending part of my weekend Photoshopping pictures of my E to see what it would look like if I painted the doors to match the panels.

anyone have any ideas of what I could use to paint the sides to match the panels like that?
I was even thinking of just using vinyl to see how it looks.

You might want to PM outpost4 and ask him. He has portions of his Element painted to match the original 2003 EX panels. Whatever he used was an excellent match!
