: Off Topic (maybe) - replacing antenna in Civic

Hi Guys-
With the addition of our new Element we are now a 2 Honda family, the first being my 98 Civic. That car is now my husband's (He still gets to drive the E!). I suffer pangs of guilt and want the Civic in tip top shape to make up for the fact that i get to drive the Element most of the time.
Ok- the Civic's antenna was broken in an ice storm some years ago. The metal is crimped and has been on the verge of failing for a long time. Now it is bent and looks like the next speed bump may be its last.
Any suggestions/DIY advice for replacing it? Am I correct in thinking this is a rather involved process? Any ideas how much it may cost to do professionally?
I am game to try doing it myself but need advice!

Your best bet would be to go see a car audio dealer - they should have replacement antennas they can sell and install for you.
