I ordered a Garmin c330. I didn't want to spend a lot but wanted a quality product. I will post some pics when it comes in, should be here on Monday.

Yeah, so UPS has the estimated delivery date for Monday so even though they got it to my local place Saturday morning I guess they have to wait till when they said it would get here to deliver it. I am guessing if i would have paid more for shipping they would have delivered it Saturday. Oh well I have to go on a trip down to Mobile on Tuesday so I will get some use out of it. Pics will come with a review.

I used the Navigation on the way to work today and it works great! It is very precise on telling you where to turn and what not. A cool feature that I didn't know about is that it shows you your speed, e.t.a., how long you have driven, how long you have been moving, how long you have been stopped, total average speed, and average speed when moving. I definitely suggest this product to those who are looking for an affordable Navigation and don't need all the bells and whistles of Bluetooth.
Pics to come. I am at work right now. ssshhhhh. don't tell.

Looks great!

Do you think it would be too small to see if it was placed at the lower right of the windshield? (California law only allows placements in that part of the windshield).

I do think that might be a little far away. You could just mount it on the dash.

I have had the c330 for about one week now as well and I'm *really* impressed. It's true that, at times, it doesn't give you the quickest route. But, it will definitely get you where you need to be. It quickly recalculates and it is very precise. I just used it on a 6-hour road trip to another city, then to my hotel, then to the client's office, then back home. It did great. I went my own route once or twice and it recalculated to adjust to my choices. Very slick device and very affordable now, in my opinion.

I have mine mounted to the windshield - center glass. I rarely need it though, so mine will usually stay in the house.

You from Minnesota, Rin? Empty right lane, but you're blowing along there in the left lane, busy reading your GPS and snapping pics? ;-)

Hey Rin, Where'd you order the c330 from? I have been looking to pick one up for my E and the wife's car. I have a portable I use on the Harley for long trips. It is kind of a pain since it doesn't have the touch screen. Maybe I will look for a touch screen model that would mount on the Harley and in my E.

www.newegg.com is where I got my c550. Its not the cheapest place out there but is very reliable.

...I also purchased my TomTom and many other things from Newegg. Not the cheapest but no surprise charges either...

I jumped on the Garmin c550 and its great! Right out of the box it was ready to go. I downloaded the Webupdater and got all the other cars, pointers and software and it works great. I've already put my addresses in for the trips I'm taking this summer. All I need to do now is get the center bezel off of the dash so I can run the power line up under it and have it come back out by the AUX/PWR location. I went with this model because of the Bluetooth but still, between this and the c330 you can't beat if or go wrong with either. Garmin has been in the business for 18yrs and with that kind of service and their track record, its a good buy. I was able to get mine off of Amazon for $447 with free shipping.
