Hey guys -
I know it has been awhile. I have been unbelievable burdened with work.
Not slow down in the future either.
However, thanks to the wife being a Daughtry "groupie" I just drove to Pittsburg PA from Chesapake Va on Thursday and back home on Friday.
Although I have had the SC rims and Alenzas for since Oct?, I believe this was more of a varied road test.
It was approx `450 miles each way.
Tires were quiet on the road even at my average speed between 75-80mph.
My speed threw off my mpg of course but it did go up to 23-24mpg on all 3 tanks of gas for the entire round trip.
Trip up was dry. However, coming home was another story.
Left Pittsburg and it was raining. 30 miles down the road there was snow on the road and sleet coming down. Roads started getting a little slushie after about 100 miles. Heavy snow fall when we hit Maryland. Wife was freaked out but I was calm and cool. Element handled great. Tires handled great.
Closer we got to VA the snow fall turned into a down pour of rain. I mean heavy rain.
Tires never lost traction between the dry, snow, slush and rain covered roads. I never felt like the E would lose its grip on the road.
All in all, very happy with these tires. I have close to 8K miles on them now I think. Still looking good a new.
