My Element on the banks of the Mississippi River. I'm rather disappointed, as the pictures, with the exception of the last one, turned out far too dark. I'll be getting better ones when I go back.

The first two photos were taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel with a fisheye lens. The third was taken with an Canon EOS 30D with an 85mm image stabilizer lens.

Enjoy!

Nice location.

Hope you don't mind. But I decided to lighten your photo up a bit.

I've spent a few nice afternoons by the Mississippi. Though, mine tended to be on the Illinois side.

Awesome pics, guys! The mighty Mississippi is just as murky and dirty as where you are, dupmaronewS2K. I just caught it at an angle that didn't show it so badly.

I think a problem with my pics is that I took them at dusk, but left the shutter speed at 1600. If I'd have used, say, 600 or 400, they would've come out brighter, albiet a bit blurrier, as I didn't have a tripod.

I'm going to try to get back and retake them sometime soon.

It's in Natchez, by the way, about 300 yards from Natchez Under the Hill (there's a casino down there, it's easy to find).
