The accessory trim sticks out further and has ribs at the bottom.

I had it on my '03 SMM and really liked the look it gave to the Element. I've since traded vehicles but I picked another one on the Trading Post for $75 new and I've painted it black to match the EX-P trim. I've yet to put it on however. Time has been a problem for me. I managed to take 15mins or less to install my OEM roof rack yesterday and hope to get my dead pedal and maybe the bumper trim on by next week since the weather is now in the mid- 60's. The front bumper trim does stick out a bit futher as stated above and it has the grooves in it which enhances the look. I'm one mod away from finishing up my Element for awhile unless I do the SC front end and hope to post all new pics this spring.

ramblerdan, that looks nice! Did you put yours on yourself or did you have the dealership do it? I did my own the first time but I keep debating if I want to do it again. More than likely I will. Its just finding time to do it.

Chozn,
Everytime I see the work you did on your front bumper trim, I am so tempted to do the same. Great work!

I installed it myself. It was pretty easy, except the person I bought the trim from didn't have the correct license plate mount that goes with it. So I had to adapt the stock mount. The license plate should really be about half an inch higher and more vertical, but oh well.

Thanks JSm00thjaZ3! I'm betting you could get the product that looks just like the EX grade of the panels from the same place I ordered from and spray that piece to match the panels. It would be real close and no one would be able really to tell the differenc. Its not like someone would hold the two pieces up together for comparison. I need to go ahead and put mine on with a quickness. Its been in the trunk of the patrol car since I first started talking about it. I figure or hope to have it on no later than the end of April with my schedule. I need to make preparation for doing my headlights at this time as well, as I want to make them look like the '07 lights. Grannysmuncher gave me the tip on how to do that trick and I've had the product to do it since just after Thanksgiving. Time man, time, plus I needed it to warm up to about 60 degrees with little or no humidity and we have that now here in Indy.

Once I get it all together and put together I'll shoot some new pics to post, maybe some action stuff so it can be considered for EOTM. We have a serious rock quarry not far from me that I want to ask the guys there while I'm in uniform if I can drive the Element down into the pit. They hold a concert down there every year with the sympony and I hear its outstanding but they have people park at another location and shuttles run them down into the pit. They just found a body in there last week. A guy from Chicago was here watching the Super Bowl and after he left the bar (Moon River Tavern) across the street, he went a mile up the road and crashed. In the freezing cold he left the car and was walking back to the bar for help and he thought he could cut through and fell to his death. Then couldn't find him with all the snow inside the location but special lighting on a chopper discovered a body by changing his clothing color to red since he had on a dark blue Bears jersey. Some new technology.
Anyway, I digress.

When I get it all done I plan to shoot some good pics, maybe in the guarry and else where around town.
